Together US History Teachers from all over New York are producing short US History instructional videos on the topics covered by the the New York Regents exam. Join forces with teachers and administrators at the NYC iSchool and others in NYC to help create engaging, standards-focused videos and make sure that every student in New York has access to a high quality US history education.
Overview
Together US History Teachers from all over New York are producing short US History instructional videos on the topics covered by the the New York Regents exam. By submitting a peer-reviewed instructional video, teachers gain access to our video cache. In this way we are crowd-sourcing our lesson planning making it possible for every lesson to be our best lesson. Teachers can use videos to "flip" lessons, blend online and real-world coursework, and individualize instruction to help better prepare students to succeed on the US history Regents Exam. Join our US HIstory content creation video and make sure that every student in New York has access to a high quality US history education.

Peer Feedback Protocol:
- Together, watch the video with 10 Minute Video Rubric 'in hand.'
- The Peer Reviewer should point out the video's strengths according to the rubric.
- The Peer Reviewer should ask any clarifying questions about the video. The creator should take a few minutes to respond to each question.
- Based on the rubric, the Peer Reviewer should suggest one action that the creator can take to improve the video.
Before moving on to the next step, incorporate your Peer Reviewer's feedback into your video.
